Display Fireworks

The AFSL Display Fireworks Program incorporates voluntary standards for all classifications for display fireworks that are used in the United States.

The Standards for Display Fireworks

These standards address packaging, performance and labeling requirements established by DOT and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) as well as certain provisions contained in national fire codes, and additional provision developed by the AFSL Display Fireworks Standards Committee.

Effective February 5, 2016, AFSL suspended testing and certification under the Display Fireworks program at the request of U.S. Importers.
